got stock 19 sports. This could have been real bad. its not like it was even raining.I keep it off primarily due to aggresive driving(i drive it everday,so i still dont understand how i spun)it was like the car just made a right turn when the steering wheel was slighty turned.the back end made a right turn and the car didnt even do the control fish tail.i can take the same turn at much higer speed,so i just must have pushed it to hard.although 25 to 30 on a curve is not fast.I was in like 2nd and i have a 5 speed auto,

Her response: "what do you mean?"

"lets go for a drive."

Keep in mind, it is STILL pouring. We go to the first light outside the dealership. I tell her to make a right turn, and just floor it. Dealership insurance will take care of her. I hear the pedal bottom out, and the car just slowly makes the right turn.

She repeats it a few more times at various intersections. Same result.

I then point out the VDC button, and tell her to push it, and then floor it for a little bit in an empty lot. Tires spin.

"Oh, he must have hit that button... he likes to make the tires spin, even when I'm in the car...."
LMAO, that is freakin hillarious. I actually laughed out loud.

I remember in my old G, i hit a patch of ice going about 20 miles an hour.. my back end kicked out and i ended up doing a perfect 180 into the oncoming traffic lane. Drove off like nothing happened, even though i nearly shat myself.

The G gods were looking over me because i thought i was gonna wipe out bad.

could not have been going more than 25-30 tops.

I usually hammer it coming out of the turn in ds if its late, the road is like completly deserted road.
Why the F would you turn off VDC in the first place, especially if its drizzling outside??? unless you are intentionally trying to get the car sideways, you turn the VDC off because you are "so used to it"???

EDIT: You call the OP a douche bag but then post like one?

Some parts of this thread are hilarious. What do you think people did ten years ago when cars didn't have VDC and such?? You can drive ALL DAY LONG with VDC off and be perfectly fine. If it's wet out, just be very careful, just as you would with ANY rwd car in the rain. (I personally leave it ON when it's wet or raining outside, but I turn it off the rest of the time.)

My weekend warrior has 400+whp and runs mid to low elevens and it don't even have ABS, so of course it does not have Traction control, VDC, none of those gizmos. Just the other day I got caught in the RAIN with it, while running Drag Radials for crying out loud and it was perfectly fine driving it home.

Bottom line is just dont drive like an idiot in the rain or while the road is wet with the VDC off (I would keep it on in this scenario) and you will be fine.
