Looking for opinions on black chroming the front

I've got a plan for the front grill. I have a stock spare grill thanks to HamstersG, and I'm going to fill in the bars and then have the grill painted black chrome. That's right, it's a paint. If I can get my hands on a couple headlights, I will have the headlights done at the same time. I've been researching the spray chrome for a while now and there is a place 2 hours away that can do it. There is also a place in Omaha that will be able to do it in about a month after they get everything up and running. Their new spray booth gets painted and coated this next week (I was in it today).

My question is, what do you think about having the lower grills done in black chrome as well? I was planning to do those in gloss black but this may be another option. Everything would be done darker than the factory black chrome. I would probably find a way to open up the fake side grills also.
Too much?

Before anyone starts telling me off about the chrome paint, please realize the stock grills are NOT plated. Take a piece of sandpaper and find out yourself.

Not my cup of tea, but I think on a VR it would look sick!! Do it to it and put some pics up I love seeing new and unique stuff on different G's!

EDIT: and to answer your question, I think if you're going to do the main grille, you should go ahead and chrome the bottom ones as well. I think it will flow better.

I don't know exactly what you mean by "fill the bars" but here is something to chew on...

I like the upper but I am not feeling the mesh (a tad ricer for me).
Can you PS the bottom to match the color of the top but keep the current texture of the stock bottom grills?

This is what he means. I think the black chrome would look good, especially if you paint your headlights black chrome.

Well, I already have an extra pair of the side vents. I may look into seeing how much it woul cost me to get that lower center grill. Then I could do one set in gloss black and one set in black chrome.

The filling in the bars is just to get rid of the emblem.

I think I prefer it all black.
BTW - I like to poetic license on the lower fogs.
I am considering opening up those lower vents for some nice cold air but after seeing those fogs, I may rethink my decision...
Thanks

Thx. I think fogs will make themselves into a future G Coupe. If they do before Infiniti redesigns the car I think a lot of people with older models will buy them.
