Second dead battery

Went out to my G day before yesterday and the car wouldn't start and the battery light was on. I checked the battery with tester and it was dead. So I used my jumpstarter and it started up just fine. I drove around the whole day and no problems. I come back out the next morning and it doesn't start again. So I jump started it again and drove the whole day and it had no problems. Once again I come back out again this morning and it's dead again. I never left no courtesy lights on or used them or anything on whats so ever. I never use the A/C or lights either. I have no aftermarket stereo or alarms or whatever. Infiniti replaced my battery last month for the same problem. They told me sometimes they just have problems and won't hold a charge no more. Now my second battery is having a problem again.

Any ideas what may be going on? Instead of screwing with the warranty I just may buy an Optima Battery for $160 for future reasons since I will be having some wiring work done later on. I really don't know what's going on.

the other battery threads all show the same thing, it's apparently just the infiniti batteries, if ur under warranty might as well just get a new bttery, if not then yes optima is great, and mine has been working great since i also had 2 dead batteries

If it was just one battery i'd say it was just the battery dying, but 2 in a month, it might be your alternator....

Also check your belts too.

it can't be the alternator cause the battery gives voltage on startup and the alternator takes over and generates it. If it was the alternator it wouldn't run at all cause it would not be generating electricity. See I tested it with my multimeter and when its not started it puts out 2 volts but when running it stays at the correct 14volts. Then if I turn it off it drops real fast. I'm just sick of these infiniti batteries. Plus I'm wasting my time running to infiniti when I could just go get a high performance battery and be on with my life with no worries of it happening again. Even though it will be at my expense. Screw the warranty

Infiniti batteries are junk. I went through 2 myself. I put in an Optima yellow top and have been very happy ever since.
