Crazy that such a low level of water destroyed your engine. Remind me to never take my car into any type of puddle...

Yeah my G hardly ever sees rain....that's when my Jeep comes in handy if need be. Hopefully you'll have your new engine in no time.

I should hear an update on the new engine today, yeah i mean like i said it was as high as the kickplate, so it def just wasnt a little puddle......but with water splashing while driving and from other cars, i can see how it could have got into the engine

well the dealer put the new engine in and the car started fine, seems theres only 1 issue
check engine light came on because of the o2 sensor...........so they have to overnight a new o2 sensor to finish the car....

is that good news? bad news? i dont even know where the hell the o2 sensor is located

It's mounted on the manifold and since it's a sensor the electrical connection must have been compromised during your engine washing

so what do you think?
The tech said once they replace the o2 sensor i should be ready to roll, do you think the electrical part of my car will be ok? maybe just the 02 sensor got messed up from the electric getting wet that night?

If you do have that Injen CAI, its possible it was hydrolock and you might want to switch it out or something :/
