it is a Monday so they are probably swamped with a lot of work. they might just actually be waiting for the insurance adjuster to come down. so it' might not be the dealer looking at the car first.

that is what we do b/c if the insurance company is paying for the bill (thats why we pay our premiums for) then they will have to look at it with the adjuster like an auto accident. then the dealership will work on it if it's salvagable.

well bad news,
they said the engine will need to be replaced as they cant turn it on, they removed the plugs etc with no luck

they said they wont be able to check the electric system until they get a new engine in there, but they think its ok b/c it looked fine on jumpers.

i called my insurance company they said thell be out there tomorrow to assess it and that its covered either way

oh well, **** happens

Nope. I just dislike stupid people. I could kinda understand if this was a Bimmer driver. But I thought Infiniti's were for smart people.

Find out if your insurance company gives you a new engine or a used engine. There are a few insurance companies out there that use used engines. Have a friend with a 2008 BMW M5 that hydrolocked. Insurance company put a used engine (with less mileage but still).
