scratched my stick shifter

hey guys, the silver part of my shifter is scratched up, do u guys know anything i could try to get it out?

its the silver part in the middle of the shifter, no idea what material that is

not going to get it out I am afraid. I had the one on m 08 and 09 G and 09 FX replaced from delivery. it scratches easy and is an issue. there are 2 options I knkow of. one is to take some scotch brite and give it a washi finish. someone had done it here onlie but I cannot find the post. the second option is to buy the one off the M as it fits the AT and does not have the part that scratches.

how do i buy the M shifter? how much will i spend? this sucks, i have no clue how it got scratched

Yeah man, it happens. I managed to scratch the door grip, and i dont know how that happened either. Maybe its time to switch to a sweet aftermarket ****, like a nismo one!
