22,500 Mile Report
So I have hit 22,500 miles and just left the shop after my annual state inspection.
Here is what I can say about the car.
1) OE tires are still doing ok but will need replaced by summer's end. Might have gone longer had I not been lowered and took on some inside wear from too much negitive camber on the fronts.
2) Brakes - OMG WOW!!!! They are not even half worn and I will not be surprised to see 60,000+ out of them if the wear continues as is.
3) No leaks
4) No rattles
5) The sucky part.....using Royal Purple 5w-30, burnt 2 quarts in 5,000 miles.
6) Avergae MPG = 21
So other than oil usage, which may or may not be "normal" the car is doing well thus far.

WOW.....consumed 2 qts in 5k miles??? Might want to consider a different synthetic bro. Try Pennzoil Platinum. Cheaper than Mobil 1, great reviews on Bobistheoilguy, and readily available in 5qt jugs at Wally World.

I agree! They just want you to use their WAYYYYY overpriced conventional oil with synthetic ester additives. B.S. Try some Pennzoil Platinum. It gets great reviews on Bobistheoilguy. I'm planning on trying it once I move to synthetic. Just gonna run one more fill of dino oil. Picking up a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee this weekend as a secondary driver and will be changing the oil to Pennz Platinum for one of the first things I do....then a full detail!

So Royal Purple is not good oil?
I have already decide to make a switch, and so will try what has been suggested.
I am pretty sure I did not have the issue when I was using Mobil 1 0w-40
