How would you rate the G37's quality and dependability?
Purchased September 8, 2007 and just hit 16k miles.
No problems, no rattles, no issues. Based on what the OP was asking for, I have to give it a 10.
Room for improvement? Obviously, I'd love to have the 2009 upgrades. Other than that, no complaints. I knew the trunk was small before I bought.
Gas mileage has averaged in the upper-teens, low-20's. Extended highway driving at 75 - 80 mph has yielded 25 mpg.
Overall, I've been extremely happy with the car and my dealer.

My G37x Coupe is 6 weeks old with 2,700Km. It is as good as it should be.
I had one rattle problem on the driver door. Tinting guy didn’t install the panel properly and the dealer fixed it right a way.
There is no rattles or pops with my sun roof or dashboard.
Overall Infiniti quality is very good. However, I notice that the material and feature in the G is not as good as my FX (eg. Personalized key fob and display of actual tire pressure readings). It is an entry level car that Infiniti has to contain costs somehow.
I don’t know what to make out of the self-healing paint as yet. So far I have used touchless car wash with no waxing.
I don’t have complaints on the trunk size or seats as they are known quantities when I bought the car.
Dependability should be excellent judging from the 2 year ownership of the FX.

I just traded in my 2003 G35 6MT with 128,000 miles on it and it still ran great! AC was cold, engine ran perfect, no rattles, even had the original clutch still. Only warranty items were a cd player and the driver-side pwr window motor.

So, to answer the thread topic, I'd give the 2003 a 6/10, the 2005 a 7.5/10 and the 2008 a 9/10.
