How would you rate the G37's quality and dependability?

2500 miles and no problems for me. I don't get any rattles or squeaks, or any of the other noise issues some owners seem to experience. Fit and finish are excellent, and I think the interior quality is quite good. Love the "washi" aluminum trim too.

The only real complaint I have seems common to Black Obsidian--it's soft paint and takes chips like hell. I'm already looking to get some touch-up paint from the dealer.

One plus on the finish, though--I have a 2009 so I got the "scratch shield" clearcoat and it works pretty much as advertised. I even had a bird crap stain that "healed" itself.

Too bad they can't make a clearcoat that heals up the rock chips...

My G has a rattle near the back seat at start up in the morning, but I dont blame Infiniti, if anything I blame the Greddy exhaust. lol the sunroof makes a little noise going up my driveway ramp but that was ever since Eibach came to my life, lol. the only true complaint is a rattling, squeaking noise coming from behind my gauge cluster. but thats about it. And I got a update on my buddies 08 335,, I originally thought it had 7500 miles but it actually has 7100 miles on it and it broke on him again this past weekend, he thinks the turbos are blown. 2nd strike on his car in 9 months

I m a lil over 15k and I'm givin it an overall 9/10 only because of the break squeakiness in reverse. I'm very satisfied with quality and finish of the interior and exterior otherwise.

Mine never has either, I don't even know what it sounds like and I'm very picky about noises on my car. Only the high pitched Bose whine that most don't hear over their loud exhausts and intakes and revving hard.

No popping out of mine either. My G35 did however.

Six weeks old no complaints no problems except black requires continual attention to keep clean, the smallest mote of dirt shows up same for the windshield.

128,000 miles on my G35 and only had to replace the cd changer and driver window motor. Liked it so much I just bought a new G37.

I would say so far so good (8.5/10) starnge noises + shifting delay + unable to burnout was the reason why I rated it at 8. But all in all, I really love this car and I enjoy driving it no matter what

had the car for 14 months now. 12K + miles.

No serious issues except the VVEL actuator knocking noise. I had the TSB done a while back and its still there but not as prominent.

The only thing I dont like about our cars is
1) beige head liner. Should have been light grey to be more neutral.
2) Manual transmission, it's a lil jerky and not as smooth as Honda trannys.
3) Manual transmission, is it me or do our trannys make too much noise.
4) foglights not separated from headlight assembly.

Overall, I'd rate it at 9/10. or A-

I still love my car though.
