g37 looks familiar...hahaha, not that many IP's with white lip on the wheels...

but yea, i wouldn't second doubt that video...my mom has an 03 accord v6, feels just as fast as my G37....the accord is a lot lighter! and with some mods, it can definitely beat the G37

Lol. I can speak on this from experience. I actually owned a 03 Accord V6 6mt with HFP kit. I must admit, it was pretty quick. The fastest time I could get was a 14.2@ right about 100mph. But, it being fwd, it was very hard to get a good 60 foot. From a roll, they move pretty good. My buddy had an 03 350Z with Nismo Exhaust and Intake, my Accord had Injen CAI and Greddy Exhaust. Absolutely dead even from a roll, but he would take me from a launch. I actually kinda miss that car sometimes. Here's a picture of it.


That being said, my G37 is noticeably faster than my old accord. The only way I could see the accord *maybe* kinda keeping up would be if the G was an Automatic, and they raced from roll. That video is def not the best proof.

 

Wow! Very clean. I'm surprised you didn't pull on the 03Z??? My wife's maxima gets them on the highway.
But anyways, on the topic. Dude says the G is a 5AT. Should it be that much loss from the drivetrain considering it still has 330hp.

Wow, what year is your wifes Maxima? Speaking of our significant others rides, my old lady has an 07 Toyota Rav 4 of all things. Believe it or not, that thing comes out the hole! 3.5 V6 with awd.

Back on topic. My accord made 224 horsepower to the wheels and is probably a couple hundred pounds lighter than a G37. So, if it was indeed a 5at, I could very well see the Accord being dead even depending on his mods.

Wifey's ex-car was an 06 SE w/stillen I/E/HFC. But yeah, tell me about it. That lil Rav-4 goes 0-100 quick in a very unstable manner. Mom/in-law has it. 270hp in a small suv is scary. Sorry to go off topic.

No way. That dude's either full of it or the G cant drive worth a damn. My friend has an 07 Accord V6 coupe with a K&N CAI and it is some what quick but i smoke that thing everytime. No where close.
