i've seen that vid. if you ask me, the g is in front (by at least 3/4 length), gets off the gas because of traffic ahead, the accord passes, and both step on the brakes.

 

As a Honda sales & leasing consultant, I drove the current 271 HP V6 often but it isn't as fast as the G37. I just don't see the old V6 beating a G37 when even the new 271 HP V6 is slower than a G37.

BTW, in the vid, the G37 has a passenger but the Accord doesn't.

first off he didnt smoke me... it was a good race and i was riding with a passenger with my 2 subs in the trunk.... not an excuse but i didnt go to the hangout that day planning to race. the one who got smoked was the subaru... the video guy.

bc its a daily driver... lol. i have hours of traffic daily and i stilll have my mach 1 that has a built 5 speed. and funny thing is itd be faster automatic. just like most fast drag cars are. but i keep its stick bc its funner to drive on the track. they used to call my car the stick shift bandit at the local track lol
