Stillen plate bracket or regular mount

Well, I'm tired of getting bothered by the cops for not having a front plate. It hasnt even been a year and I've been pulled over several times. Been able to talk my way out of it so far but I just got a ticket ($110) while parked in the street. I'm in Long Island, NY.
So, I'm either putting the stock plate bracket back or installing the Stillen plate bracket. Aside from being $70 I'm not sure how I feel about the Stillen bracket since it's off center. Havent really seen any good pics of it. I'm thinking I should put the standard front plate bracket on.
Your thoughts? Anyone have good pics of the stillen bracket installed?
Thanks!

MD owner here, Front plate required. I almost didnt buy the car after the drilled my front bumber... After thinking about it for a while though I decided it wasnt that bad. I would just do the standard plate braket, 70 is a lot of money to spend for a peice of metal with some threads on it. Plus imo it is a bit odd looking to see the plate not centered.

Stillen bracket FTW

Best part about it is its removable. So if you wanna do a photoshoot or anything just take it off so your car looks good!

stock bracket FTW - plus its free. Eventually you will get nabbed again, think of the 110 you have already paid and the choice will be clear soon.

If you don't enjoy getting pulled over, definitely don't put any red lights on the front of your car. Even if you're brother is NYPD and you don't get a ticket, you'll still be pulled over alot, but maybe some people just like the attention. Besides a possible ticket, I absolutely hate getting pulled over, I find it sort of embarrassing...but I have a good chuckle at others when I see 'em on the side of the road havin' a chit chat with Johnny Law.

What does red lights on the front of your car have to do with having a front plate? You went way out in left with that one dude......

Hey, sorry for abandoning the thread. Got really busy at work and totally forgot about it.
I'm leaning towards just drilling the holes. If I put the stillen bracket on the car I'm going to leave it on permanently. I dont do photo shoots or anything like that. I think the center mounted plate looks better and like you said, it's free.
Generally you won't get bothered about a front plate and even when you do, you can usually talk your way out of it. But when you park on the street they'll get you every time. It's just not worth it.
