Hill Start Assist

When I test drove a G37 I was at a hill and I didn't roll back. I was surprised and the sales guy said. oh yeah that's the so and so. I ended up buying a different G37, and there is not HSA. I looked around and didn't see that on any options so I assumed it was standard in the sport package.

Is that something you have to enable?

I've never heard of any such option. Must be only on the '09. My hill start assist is proper gas/clutch modulation and a parking brake!

That's strange, I had the 09 G37 Sedan as a rental last week and the garage I was parked on was in the hills outside Los Angeles and TRUST ME, it went backward. Scared the out of me...Maybe it's a 6MT feature or a Coupe feature.

G37S came in both 6MT or in 5AT as part of the Sport Package.

Most of us have 08 G37's and I never heard of such an option.

I'm pretty sure my 6MT '08 rolls back when on a hill. cool feature to have though.

hmm. sound's like the salesman made that up.
It would be a cool feature to have on a MT though.

LOL you may be right, but we have driveways, and uh stuff. Hills are over-rated anyways. Especially here in central florida, the most adventurous hills and bumps we get are speed bumps.
