Battery drain problem

Hi all,
The battery in my 2008 G37S keeps draining if I do not use the car for a while. Is this normal? To be more precise, if I do not move the car for three or four days it just dies? Now I have to go on a business trip and my car is going to be at the airport for about a week, this is going to be a problem if my G does not start when I get back.

Would I damage anything if I disconnect the battery while I am gone? That way I may have a full charge when I get back. Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Let me get this straight. You are going to park at the airport and disconnect the battery? No alarm? Gotta use the actual key to get in?

Simple suggestion- Get a new battery.

Yeah. The dealership just replaced it a couple of weeks ago.

Possibly an issue with your audio install draining the battery?

Oh, you didn't mention that your battery was new. Something, then, is sucking the life out of it and is usually aftermarket mods as BB said. You need to sort this out asap.

yup it's probably an aftermarket part sucking up the battery... unless you got a 2nd defective battery...

Check your car in the dark to see if any lights are illuminated. You shouldn't see any to include the trunk and glove box. Ya never know....

Any update on what was draining the battery? It's highly unlikely you got 2 bad batteries.

I just returned from a six-week trip. The G was parked in my garage for that time and the battery is doornail-dead. There are so many systems (stock) running in the background that I wasn't surprised. One week, however, seems way too short a period to drain a good battery.
