Ivory Pearl Paintmatching
Ivory Pearl Paintmatching
I've had a few chips here and there on my hood and my girlfriend scratched the trunk when we were debadging (told her not to use her nails....). I bought some paint pen stuff from Pep Boys that was called "Nissan Arctic White"...it looked relatively close to the Ivory Pearl. I put it on and alas it looks like white out.... It's not terribly noticeable but it's there and I KNOW IT IS, that's all that matters! Think I could take it to the dealer and get them to touch it up? Or what would you guys do? Thanks in advance!
Well that answers the question haha. I just moved to Baton Rouge from Nashville, haven't been the Baton Rouge dealership yet
. Do you just walk in and ask for factory paint Ivory Pearl or do they have to paint it for you? People in Louisiana half *** everything so I'm not totally sure they would have it.

I have IP and when I hit a deer the body shop said this was one of the hardest colors to color match. That being said...I would take it to a body shop or go to the dealer and let them have a go at it. You don't want to screw it up anymore.
Dealership should have factory paint pen for touch-up.

I did the base coat on the scratch on the back...then a bird did his business on the front of my car when I went to do those...so I think I'll wait...

IP is quite hard to match, even with the factory touchup. I have this color and no touchup goes unnoticed. A professional bodyshop is the only way to go for any conspicuous touchup. Good luck.
