G37x or G37 with 4WheelSteering?
Hello -
I've been researching getting a g37 for a couple months now. We were pretty set on getting one - and then we went to the LA auto show and became aware of the g37x and have been fascinated by it ever since.
We then came to find out that for some odd reason, the sports package isn't available for it, which was a major disappointment.
It has left me wondering, how much of a benefit is AWD in an area like Los Angeles? Is it nice enough to give up the potential addons that Sports package allows, or more specifically - the 4 Wheel Steering?
If you were to pick between the two, living in a climate like Los Angeles - is the AWD a big enough draw for you or would you lean toward the Sports package and/or the 4WheelSteering?
I understand the AWD can benefit a driver anywhere there's uncertain traction, not being limited to rain and snowy situations - but is it more desireable than what you're prevented from getting?
Thank you reading!

If you get absolutely no snow where you live, then go with the G37S. I'm not sure why you would need the X for! Any reason why you are considering the 4WAS? The Active Cruise Control feature which is part of the Tech. package would definitely be nice to have but 4WAS I doubt it would make much of a difference with handling and such.
Good luck and welcome to the forum!

I would get the G37 S.
IMO The AWD version of the G37 would only be favorable for snowy areas unless it included some of the sport package options. I think that Infiniti missed an opportunity with this one. If they made an AWD, 4WAS sport version of the G37 people would jump all over it-especially if they added about 20 HP/ TQ to it to help compensate for extra weight.
