I'm in the same boat as DarkG37 except I had dogde neon before my G and a Sonata before that.
IllMatic_ It s great that you are fortunate and come from a very wealthy family, but also realize that the vast majority of folks ain't got it like that. You are able to afford your ride coz you ain't got nothing else to worry bout as far as bill (more power to you). For those folks like me who:
- work full time
- put themselves through college
- pay for a place to live on their own (house)
- Can't rely on super rich parents to bail them out

Getting the G37 at 18 would be irresponsible. 24-27 is reasonable for a single person because it allowed time to save $$ and plan it out so we don't put ourselves in regrettable and unmanageable debt. Having a family make things more difficult. If you were a little more mature and knowledgeable on the realities of life, you wouldn't need us to tell you that and most likely would make some of the statement you made.
At the end of the day we all love our G and I'm not out here to school anyone. We all have our opinions, they are not wrong or right, just different.

IMO - I always cringe when I hear about people who own semi-expensive cars and then find out they live at home. I mean, how irresponsible is that? Some of my friends do this and I always give them **** about it. Modding their cars, not paying rent. And then they say renting is throwing away money and they're just waiting to buy a house - with help from their parents mind you. http://www.hulu.com/watch/67442

Bitch pleeeeeeze. LOL.

Damn there are some spoiled *ss kids on here. JEEEEZZZZ, you kids better appreciate what your parents do for you and do whatever they ask of you with no complaints. $40K+ cars at 16-17, your parents should be shot. My kids, when I have them, will get the same thing I did. I'll get them their first car, it will get them from A to B, and it def won't have 330hp unless it's a full size truck. Will most likely be a 10+ year old civic/accord. After that, they can get what they want on their own.

Parents bought:
16 - 1986 Chevy S-10 4X4
I bought:
20 - 2003 Civic EX coupe - new
21 - 2002 RSX-S - used
23 - 2006 Civic Si - new
25 - 2008 G37S - new

18 - 2001 Yamaha R1

Nice list. I bought myself a VR-4 at 17. I miss that car.

High fives for the old S-10 my parents still have mine. Bro drove it for a while and now it's the work/hunting truck.

I didn't add in bikes, lol.

Nice, I love the daytona. The S-10 was awesome. Actually had it painted viper blue. Some old lady ran a stop sign and killed that poor truck. It was amazing little truck though. I always wanted to get a cyclone

Mine is like a sh*t brown color, lol. It used to be gold but it's faded a little bit. I think my dad refuses to retire it, but something is always wrong with it now. It needs to be parked out back and slowly tinkered with by dropping in a 4.3L & tranny. Then it'd be unstoppable, the 2.8L is little lacking.....
