Warranty Question

This is a simple warranty question but I just wanted to make sure. If i buy the car from a dealer 2 hours, can I take it to the local dealer if something goes wrong with the car? Do I have to transfer something or is this all in the system by default? Thanks

As long as it's an Infiniti dealership, doesn't matter where you are in the US. It's all in the system.

You're good to go locally!

If worse comes to worst, Nissan can help as well but I'd go to Infiniti first, especially for any big issues.

I bought my G in Tampa, and have it serviced in Clearwater. No problems, like Achilles said - it's all in their national computer system.

you can even take it to a nissan dealership for about anything. my closest infiniti dealership is a little over 2 hrs away, so I just take it to nissan.

Yea, the cars stay in the sytem even after they're traded in and sold at another dealership.

So, the answer is yes you can take it to another Infiniti dealer, even if it's not the one you bought the car from. You don't have to transfer or do anything, just show up to the service department.

Not sure about Infiniti but most dealers make pretty good money off warranty repairs.

Infiniti has been good to me so far with warranties. Got the axle chirp fixed, and I'm dropping the car off to get the seat bubble taken care of too, all covered under warranty.

I'll find out later today. When it's all done, I'll make a post about it.
