Doing burnouts w/ AT's seems problematic w/ today's cars ... many Pontiac G8 GT owners complain that they can't light-em up as well.

Would you like me to show you how to drift and pop a U-y in an AT too?

Nope not enought heat generated that way to warp rotors. Only if the rotoes are moving and the pads are draging. Try again

burn out, brake stand are somewhat synonmous, but its technically called a brake stand, if you apply the brakes and stay in one spot. The act of moving forward is a burn out, which 99% of all cars do, when smoking them off in the box, since knocks off the water from the box.

The term burn out is used more often, but incorrectly, and has in a lot of car groups replaced the brake stand term. But if you trace it back to the muscle car days, the proper and correct term is a brake stand if you use the gas and brake together.

So, dont think youre teaching me anything. the true term used by any gearhead is a brake stand if the vehicle is not moving forward and the brake is being applied.

Fun Fact: From a legal perspective, traffic ticket scenario.

A brake stand is considered careless driving, and a burn out (where the vehicle moves forward or sideways) is considered wreckless driving. Just an fyi
