Im driving my new G home on saturday, its a 6MT. Problem is i've never ever driven a manual car before. i thoroughly understand the concept though. (i have driven manual motorcycles occassionally when i was 13 or so)
.
How many of you think i will:
a) Not Stall at all
b) Stall Once
c) Stall a few times
d) Not make it home at all
e) Cry for mommy !
.
haha. place your bets.... and at the same time.. gimme some tips (dont say go read the word file posted, i did already)

6mt FTMFW!! its awesome bro even if u dnt kno how to drive stick you would get used to it.. its my first car. I knew wha i was doing wit stick but nothing special. Like i needed to learn the clutch n ****t like i picked up the g with a 3-4 out of 10 learning experience with stick.. I got it fri, i dnt even stall, its awesome bro u wont regret it..
Best of luckk just feather the gas,, thats ur best bet.
how far do you have to go and what kind of roads? i'd say C but just take it easy on the gas and just let the cluth out slowly on 1st. once you get going you should be fine as long as you know when to shift up and down. we all stall every once in a while especially on a new car. hope this helps. let us know how you make out. maybe you can drive a friend's MT before just to get some ideas.
Yeah, are you in a hilly area with lights or traffic jams? You may need to learn e-brake management with the clutch, which is an extra complication.
Otherwise, if you previously did ok on a bike, you're probably fine.
