You know you own a G37 when...
Ha, you misunderstood me. It's not the kids fault. If I could get one at that age I would too and it's great that he's humble. What he does not get however is an appreciation of what it takes to get a car. Your first car should be worked for not given. If you give a child everything he won't know how to work hard to get somewhere, ie. the American way. What's next for him? What's to strive for? He's already been there done that. And if his parents bail him out or give it to him, why bother working for it? It's the wrong message to send and parents that do that actually do a disservice to their children. I wasn't calling him or his parents "snob"s. I don't know them so I can't speculate on that. I was calling buying his 16 year old kid a CLK350, a S550 and an R8; a poor parenting decision.
P.S. John D. Rockefeller (Forbes #1 list of all time in history wealthiest person at 325 Billion) used to give his children a dime for an hours work. They attended the best school but didn't get the luxuries unless they worked for it and earned it. Their children went on to become successful in their own rights.

also want to add...
...when you come outside in the morning to find your radio on...
and
...when the dealer tells you they only expect the clutch to last 25k miles... and then justifies it as being normal because his IROC Camaro did the same thing...
And even worse...why is someone else parking your G for you?! Drive that ish yourself man, I don't trust other people to drive mine lol
Really?! I absolutely cant stand Bimmers...i don't like the cars at all. If you wish you had a 335i then get one. They're relatively close in price aren't they?
Haha i noticed that too and feel the same way
eh alas...wanted the 335i but to get it in my price range id have to have a used car that was nearing it's maintainence warranty...too expensive to upkeep those failing turbos on my own. so i went with option b..the g37s 6mt with every option available. Got it newer with 4k miles for the same price as a year older 335 with 10x the miles. I just figured it was better than driving a 328i coupe...even though the bmw looks better just figured there was more value in the g37. I dont really consider it quite as sporting as any bmw, but more so than a 328 coupe. it has all the fun jappy toy options, but just lacks the tightness, performance feeling, and overall sense of refinement of bmw. I've owned a lexus, bmw, mercedes, and a slew of domestics. Never and infiniti so i figured what the heck. I just still find myself with 335 lust.
335I's are nice cars n the M3 look nicer I agree BUT I had never regret getting my G, matter fact i see BMW owners staring at my G hahaha. They must be thinking "damn I should had gotten a G"
