I had my 350z lowered about an inch, I'm used to avoiding all speed bumps and when I have to go over them, taking them at an angle... I would usually always scrape even when going at an angle...

That got to be such a PITA, that I'm not dropping my G37S. I have only been over a couple of speed bumps since then(taken them at an agle as well) and have not scraped(knock on wood).

On a side note, I see that the two exhaust pips go under the rear axle... seems kinda out of place and possibly prone to a little scrapage. Not sure if the rear diff is lower than those pipes.

yes they seem really low. i also thought i would be scrapping them all day long. but i have. the only thing i scrape all the time now is the secondary cats on the bottom. i scrape the parts where the cats meet the rear exhaust

What are the slammed & raked looks as oppose to a regular drop??

i would call my car slammed as posted above. raked is the front lower and the rear higher. i.e. solo dropped the front but not the rear. normal drop would be just to reduce the wheel gap some.
