Obviously dillyyo, you don't know what you are talking about. This was already discussed in another older Thread. Now the G37 is a Grand Touring car which can be considered a Sports Car. Here are two links you should read before posting that the G37 is not a sports car:

http://www.buzzle.com/editorials/2-11-2006-88657.asp
and
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_tourer

Again it comes down to Opinion. In your Opinion the G37 is not a Sports car but in other people's opinion it is. Oh and please try to stay on topic in other post and welcome to the forum. Please feel free to PM me if you feel I am wrong in this definition or if you have solid proof the G37 is not a sports car or a grand touring. I would love to see someone here tell me the GTR cannot be considered a Sport car.

Dang you Diamond..

OK back on subject. I have been driving more aggressively now and have noticed that my miles until empty have dropped to the low 300s. I use to get very high 300s close to 400. I am now going to reset my ECU and start to do 0-60 in 14seconds and see if that helps.

Believe me, i already know that a sports cars definition is somewhat subjective, but any sports car enthusiast will tell you that the G37 is NOT a sports car. Maybe if your use to coming from Honda civics, accords, Grand Ams and the such, but not if you are use to driving a corvette, viper, 911's etc. I have a modded 300ZX twin turbo and only with all of its suspension and mechanical upgrades would I consider it a sports car and only a GT at that. Considering that it smoked 911's when it came out too!

In my and many other SCCA racers that I know, a sports car is a car that is ready to go extreme racing on a track. Very few production cars can do this without modifications, unless your laying out big money. Although I love the way the G handles it's fat azz, it does not compare to car that is ready for the track. Just IMHO.

Oh, and what the heck does the GTR have to do with this topic?!

Umm, I think you have "sports" car and "race" car confused.....

Yea, the 430 Chalenge Stradale, 911 GT3RS and Gallardo Superllegra are one of only a few race ready cars...Heck The G37 throughly beats a C4 Corvette in all categories as a sports car and will give a early C5 a run for it's money...you tell me how it's not a sports car...
