previous owners of g35 coupes hows the mpg on the g37 ?

I own a '06 G35 sedan which gets lousy mileage - about 18mpg avg.
On the other hand, I aslo own 2 Corvettes, a 2004 and 2007, and each gets close to 30 mpg hwy with the 6 sp. manual tranny.
These cars have 400 horsepower.
Even around town, they avg in the 20's.
I can't understand why our Infiniti's don't do better.
BTW..... the Vettes have 3.42 rear gears.
