Swap out from rice paper to Rosewood interior?

Is this something that can be done? I might want to try this in the future - can it be done after the fact?

That was me. I just sent the kit back to Sherwood Dash. The wood was a perfect match for the rosewood, but the cut of the pieces was such that there was no way to hide all of the washi trim.

It was especially bad around the radio buttons. Even worse, the door spears required two pieces, wood for the top, and a chrome piece for the bottom.

I sent it back and told them that it wasn't worthy of a $40K+ car.

I will say the wood looks good in the car. It's all a matter of taste, but the wood is my preference. I'm sure you are talking over $1,000 to get the factory pieces installed.
