Infiniti's Target market for G37-younger, more females

Here is a link to Infiniti's marketing director on YouTube talking to their dealer network. They think the new G37 will lower the median age vs competition (BMW, Mercedes, Audi coupes) and increase the percentage sold to females from 30% to 40% or higher.

Same impressions, low-end torque is almost unsignificant on the new G.
All a matter of personal preferences but the G35 has more Z appeal than the new coupe. Not against it, if I want a car that feels like a Lexus I'll just buy a Lexus...

....or one might say: if you want a car that feels like a Z you might just buy a Z. I think that the new G was developed to separate itself a little more from the Z- to create it's own identify for the most part.
The next Z will be designed to separate itself a little more from the G more power and less weight is rumored on the new Z.

You sure about that?

From what I see, and I'm no expert at reading dyno printouts, but it looks like the torque curve is relatively FLAT. So to say that there isn't any low-end torque is inaccurate.

well I sat in a black interior of a G37S the other day while getting my car serviced at an undisclosed sh!tty dealership in Kansas City called Major Infiniti, and the bucket seats and their leather are quite fantastic.... I am not a fan of the way the dash looks, but I do like the materials better than the ones in my 2004 G35 sedan.

^^^Infiniti did a fantastic job with the interior quality. Whether one likes the new layout, there is no doubt the obvious upgrade in materials and craftmanship. I can finally say it is on par with Lexus and Acura.
