I hate to sell the first car I ever bought with my own money. I have babied that car since the very beginning ... now I'm even changing the oil, changing the brakes ... I've learned so much about basic car repairs/maintenance on the TL. I know the motor will last another 100,000 miles, but not the tranny ... I'd love to keep the TL-S but the wife won't allow me to keep 2 cars (or else I would have bought a 2002+ NSX an imported one by now with the great exchange rate)

The dealer told me it'll be tough to find a Canadian allocation with my specs, so it'll take at least 2-3 months for the order to go through. In the meantime, I'll part out my car, and then post my car on trader. I'll use the Acura / Honda sites I frequent to maybe sell the car first. Those people will know how much I've put into this car.

Of course ... in the meantime ... new cars from the Tokyo or Detroit autoshows may sway me to wait for the 'next big thing'. (GT-R, perhaps? There's also a rumour, which I read there, I think ... a G37 with GT-R parts ... a M3 competitor!)

 

which infiniti dealer around the GTA would be good to buy from? i heard bad things about the willowdale one.

If you are looking to get a possible discount I would say Alta Infiniti or you could try the Newmarket one. If you want a referral for the Alta one, send me a PM.

We got an M from a lady over there.

Even though we live very close to the Willowdale one, they wouldn't give any discounts on the Ms. Ridiculous!! I wouldn't recommend buying from them at all.

I am pretty sure it will be hard to get a deal for a G37 from any of them, but you could at least try.
