Canadian dealerships delivered the 07 Sedan before the official release date so this doesn't surprise me a bit. Congrats to your bro!

I tell ya Glenn, our prices are ridiculous up here compared to yours. When I got my 07 Sedan a 4 year lease with zero down was over $900/mo. Crazy eh?

Is there a reason why Canada gets first dibs? I guess it's a fair trade-off for the ridiculous markup. lol

According to the rate conversion 911 canadian would be about 858.00 USD. That's still pretty expensive for a lease. My dreams of getting this car are looking pretty dim. I guess it might be a sedan or a used coupe for me.

You can't simply convert CDN dollars to US dollars and compare.....it doesn't work that way. For exampl, my 07 Sedan was $51k, but in the US it's around $36k. That is a difference of $15K......however in real world conversion $51 CDN is about $48k. Prices of vehicles here is simply waaaay more expensive than in the US.

The OP didn't state it was a lease. His cousin may have financed. My finance payment for my 2007 G sedan (not completely loaded, I could't get the Tech package ) is 810/month

There are 3 G37 coupes where I live -- one already delivered (black on black, 6MT, premium + navi package), 1 silver (5AT, base) already sold to a woman (surprise, surprise), 1 silverstone (6MT, premium package) to test drive. I wouldn't advise buying the silverstone -- my buddy and I beat on it pretty bad ... LOL.

That car is phenomenal -- I am already starting to part out my car in preparation to ordering one in athens blue, stone interior, 6MT, premium package... (drool...)

Does anyone know why Canada got prices and deliveries first before the US? Nothing against Canada or anything but I thought that getting the cars to the US would be of more importance since If I'm getting my information correctly, we have a larger market share?

^ It probably is easier to organize sales for a smaller network of dealerships. That would be my guess. (Plus we do pay a premium to have the car ... so I guess there are some 'benefits' to that ...)
