^watch out, Yimbie here will bite your ***** off in order to better suit you to buy a G37.

But personally, I think the G37 looks good. <--- male.

What? What's the difference?

Car vs. Car means you throw out the price tag (I'm saying this because the cars have a relatively comparable price range, that's why the car reviewers are comparing them in the first place). However, if you choose to include the price, the majority of reviews still favor the BMW.

*edit*

And I'm done with regards to this topic... just *walkin away*.

+1 completely agree.

That was the first thing that was apparent when watching the video. the driver was saying the 335 was more refined and buttoned down, but from what I saw, the 335 had a lot more understeer and snap oversteer.

I didn't see any snap oversteer with the G37, it looked well controlled (or easily controlled) to me.

LSD plays a big roll on the track when losing traction. With a good LSD the 335i would be even more stable.. Too bad it is not standard. It can be installed but geez by the time you add it and then the Procede chip the price gets up there. There are a lot of other cars over $50K I'd rather drive than the 335i...

PS

What's with all the drifting in the video?! Where the f*ck is the Stig when we need him?!
I disagree. Please speak for yourself. Both of these cars interest me for different reasons. If you hate the styling of the 335, why would you buy it? You must agree that there are alot of people that find the 335 styling boring and bland, no? 0-60 isn't everything - ask all the 328 owners who make up 70% of the 3-series sales.

The track videos showed it all. Great reviews.
I have to agree with you there!

I'm not trying to influence anyone, I was correcting misinformation. The N54 is not the 330/328 engine with turbos slapped on. That isn't me saying 'zomg, best engine ever", it's me saying the statement "it's probably just a 328 without the turbos" is not correct. Chill.

I'll agree to that. I agree that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

But I don't understand anything else that you said... because I.... own... a... G..35... so I am blind to see how I'm defending my purchase. All I'm doing is looking at the statistics and reviews of both the G37 and 335i as a "car" enthusiast, not a "G" enthusiast. And to be honest, the after market, easy power potential of the 335i makes it a clear winner in my book.

PS

I love my G btw. It's the best car I've ever owned (not that I've owned impressive cars in the past tho).

Oooooh... that explains so much. Of course to a car enthusiast I would recommend the 335i, but to someone who isn't a car enthusiast I would recommend the G37.
