I think that he's maybe speculating that the person who wrote that article decided to wait until Motor Trend released their verdict and if the person didn't agree with it... THEN he's asking if car magazines matter in the first place. If maybe the BMW won... then he wouldn't be saying that, but since the Infiniti won... then he wrote that. I dunno... who knows what was going through that person's mind when he wrote it... maybe he honestly does believe that all car magazines comparisons are worthless or maybe he decided to write that because Motor Trend didn't put the 335i on top.
