i was just on the infiniti site and a picture came up of the sedan that just blew me away with its similarity to the "teaser" pic that came out, not saying its not legit but im saying it looks questionable

I can agree with you on that one.

 

Well, ofcourse they are going to be similar.

The most noticeable difference is the length of the clearance strip and the round fogs, which hopefully contain projectors too.

I agree, I would expect the Sedan's and Coupe's headlight assembly to look extremely similiar. I would also expect that the Coupe's tail lights will also look like the ones on the 07 Sedan.

 

Like I said earlier, the biggest differences between the coupe and sedan will be a wider track and more raked windshield. The front fascia and headlights will look similar much like the front gen. Sometimes I can't tell the difference between a sedan and a coupe (first gen) at a glance (from the front). I noticed in the spyshot that the new coupe has a really long, embellished hood. Much like the sedan...although I think it is much more noticable on the two door. Reminds me a little bit of Maserati/Aston styling.

 

I do think its legitmatley an 08 Coupe picture. If you look at the very bottom right hand corner of the headlight, you can see how the sedans front bumper runs completely parallel to bottom of the headlight, the 08 Coupes front bumper comes up about a 1/4 of the way of the side of the headlight and then dives back down at an angle towards the wheel well.

 

why is thier such a huge ledge under the headlight

 

It's beautiful headlight, and just like Mercedes CLS coupe!!

 

The first generation sedan and coupe headlights are identical, so these being similar is not at all surprising. I actually think they look quite different, especially since that coupe light is quite recessed in the body work.

 

Like an Altima.... (hehehe.... sorry I had to say it)

 

In that teaser the headlight actually looks more like the 03-06 coupe than the 07 sedan. Imagine you put back the tiny curve missing on the left side of the headlight and that makes it just like the current coupe. But of course the headlight is places differently.

 

The first generation headlights are similar but not identical between coupe and sedan. The overall shape and size are different.
