While working on the rivets for the flapper, I accidentally knocked off the tab for this limit switch and I' m wondering if anybody has any suggestions on how to replace this or fix it.

You may want to read through this thread as OP was able to fix theirs by reattaching the metal tab. As a last resort there may be a replacement BMW switch available- new or used- if you search hard enough.
