Hey everyone,

I’m trying to track down two parts for my 2012 Infiniti G37 convertible. The Infiniti dealer told me they’ve been discontinued, so I’m at a dead end. Hoping someone here might know of a substitution or where I can still find them.

The parts are:

• LH Trunk Link Sensor – 84497-JJ50A
  
• RH Trunk Link Sensor – 84497-JJ50A
  

Has anyone sourced these recently, found compatible replacements, or had luck with a salvage yard/aftermarket supplier? Any leads would be a lifesaver.

Are you 100% confident the same p/n applies to both sides? And, are you 100% confident you need both of them?

That said, it appears that the hall sensor is still available from Japan. I checked amayama.com and they show the sensor for $116.55 each.

I have used amayama for years and have had zero issues. I would send them a email asking them to verify availability. They usually respond promptly. Keep in mind that with all the nonsense being imposed by @$%&!, shipping may be a issue at this point and the tariff crap just adds another layer of unnecessary headaches and costs.
