I havent asked a dumb question for abit so I am due! lol. Does anyone routinely open and close the Power Top just to keep the function in order? I have had mine in convertible mode and would leave till fall storage. I know car battery capacity is crucial in opening and closing so can I do an close and open back to back? Thanks

 

So, in other words you keep the car with the top down all spring/ summer season and only put it back up come fall/ winter? There is no real need to cycle the roof though it likely would not hurt anything to let the roof "stretch its legs" so to speak.

As long as the engine is running you can cycle the roof, however, I would not do it repeatedly as the hydraulic pump is not meant to run "continuously."
