G37 need to lift engine

Steering is touching the header. Exhaust manifold is touching steering shaft.

someone told me I need shims? Has anyone had this issue?

i looked into changing the motor mounts but it won’t lift the engine. Someone told me to put in a solid motor mount but that will ruin the drive

Are the headers / exhaust OEM or aftermarket?

The Z1 mounts are adjustable
think gkteck makes some too

shims would be easy enough to make, just big washers.
As long as you leave enough thread for the nuts to grab

How much do you think you need to raise 'em?
(Watch out for the strut tower brace)
1/8" or 1/4" aluminum plate should be doable in most garages.
BTW, what headers are they? Shortys, long tubes, cast 4 turbos, or what?
