engine/motor mount

So a few days ago, i started feeling a bad vibration at idle when my car was in drive. I took it to the garage this morning and said that he think I have broken motor mount.

I have a 2009 G37xs Sedan with 174 000 Km on it.

The mechanic did look at rock auto website but said that he doesn't know those brand very well, but want me to come back on the June 30 to look further.
Can anyone recommend a good motor mount?

Tks in advance.

Generally, a broken engine mount will not increase engine vibration at idle, unless they are liquid filled and have a leak.

Have you changed your spark plugs? They were due at 168,000 KM.

If it is the engine mount (which I don't think it is) I would go with OEM. The aftermarket ones transmit MUCH more vibration/noise than stock.

I would also look at your bank to bank fuelling using a cheap OBD scanner and OBD Fusion or Torque.

The mechanic think it may be a broken bolt somewhere but he said when he come back from vacation on the 31` he will do a better diagnostics but I may bring it to the dealer to have them pin point the problem and have the other mechanic fix it.

the spark plug were change around 172 000 with AUTOLITE. I do use torque with an OBD scanner already.

The whole vibration on the front end only happen after I hit a put whole.
