Unfortunately, the TOPDON did NOT work for me. I could move the Parcel shelf up and down but no other vert functions were available. I returned it and am waiting for my Consult III that I purchased from OBDII.shop. I will post my experiences.
I"m seeing that some say disabling this box messes with rear windows and trunk etc.
Is the 'beeper box' the B87 component.? I am thinking of just wrapping it in accoustic foam panels to at least reduce the noise. The indy Infiniti dealer was a big sissy and said nothing they can do...except 10 grand replacement....um NO
bro you are the man, thank you from the bottom of my ecu
hey I’ve had this exact problem but I’m unsure where the beeper box is,I’ve looked around behind the panel but simply cannot find anything. A photo or explanation would help thank you.
Glad you figured it out Jasmoore23 - sorry it took me a bit to respond.
Srdro, the exact location of the beeping box is behind the interior panel on the Drivers side of the vehicle in the back seat area. The photo below shows the panel along with the areas where you need to release it from the Body of the car.
The two brown buttons are clipped into the side panel and can be removed with a body tool (highly recommended that you get these - screwdrivers can damage panels). For reference, these brown buttons have a spring-loaded inner button. The function of these buttons is to hold in place the optional convertible shield you can attach over the back seat to keep all you stuff from blowing out of the care when the top is down.
One of the buttons conceals a 10mm bolt - be careful not to attempt to pull the panel off prior to removing this bolt
The highlighted areas show the locations that you will need to pry the panel off of the body - once again, get a set of interior panel pry bars, they are worth it.
Special note - you will need to remove the seat back and the seat bottom to effectively remove this panel. Refer to the service manual or the videos on Top Hydraulics on the procedure. There are a few bolts that need removing
Once removed, you can see in the next phot the location of the beeper box.

Feel free to share more information about what is actually happening with your top. This beeper box only sounds when there is something serious going on.
