Looking to purchase a 2015 Q60 convertible. I am rather picky with miles, number of owners............. I missed out on one that would have been perfect and have not found another one for some time.
Is there any reason not to widen my search to a 2014 or even a 2013 G37? Are there any issues in these years that are not in the 2015? Thanks
The only major issue to be on a lookout for is the gallery gasket, which was upgraded mid 2013 on all g37 models.
All the verts are the same otherwise.

One more question. Did they only offer a graphite grey interior, or did they also offer a black interior? Thanks
Depending on the year and trim there were four (4) different interior options:
T = Stone (like a grayish tone);
C = Wheat (like a beige);
G = Graphite (black); and
Z = Red

Red was the IPL only, correct? And I think it was called Monaco Red.
And I believe Stone was only available with the 6MT or Sport Package.

The IPL 'Vert was only available with the following:
EXTERIOR: GAC (Malbec Black) or QAA (Moonlight White)
INTERIOR: Z (Monaco Red "A") or T (Stone)
This is based off of several VIN's that I ran over the years narrowing down and sourcing different trim pieces/ colors. Of course, none of this is set in stone (no pun intended) as there could be differences. Back when I did the headrest swap (w/ speakers) I was lucky as the 2013 'Vert "Stone" matched my 2008 Coupe "Stone" perfectly.
***While not relevant here, I indicated above that the red is identified as "Monaco Red 'A.'" The "newer" Q's switched (around 2018/19) to "Monaco Red 'B'" which is a darker, more burgundy-shaded red as opposed to the brighter red of the IPL's. Example of each side by side:
Again, this does NOT apply to the 'Vert. This is merely for general informational purposes only!

Sorry for the delay. I purchased a 2014 Q60 with 26k miles. It was $27,500 (Summer of 2023) with taxes and delivery from Florida to Chicago area. It was a one owner with no accidents. It took me 8 weeks to find it, there were a few others I missed out on. The car looked near new to me. I have really enjoyed it. My previous car was a Porsche 997.2 (911) C4S Cabriolet. I owned it for about 6 years. The Porsche was a love hate relationship. I loved it until I got a repair bill. There were a few things that broke on it that never should have, especially since it was under 35k miles. I expect the Q60 to go a very long time before anything major or minor needs replacing.
I feel that the Q60 convertible is a car that really flies under the radar. It looks great when the top is down. It is also a rather rare automobile. I see a 911 every other time I am driving somewhere, I have yet to see another Q60 in the last few months.
As for improvements to the Q60, there are really none I can think of. Yes there is NO trunk when the top is down. I don't know how they could solve that problem as the hardtop is so bulky. I would like to have had larger brakes like on the IPL BUT not the lower profile tires, I want a comfortable ride!
I did add a module that allows the remote to put the top down. Infiniti should have a button on their remote to activate the top AND windows.
I hope Infiniti makes a convertible in the future but if they don't it will probably help mine not deprecate as quickly.
I plan on owning this car for quite some time. I want my next car to be a Lexus LC500 convertible. I will again find a one owner with low miles and accident free. It may take some time but those gems are out there.

Press AND hold the UNLOCK button on the fob for ≈3sec. and the windows should roll down.

While I do not want to pop anyone's balloon- nor would I ever presume to tell folks how to operate their cars- I would point out that operating the top with the engine OFF is not recommended by Infiniti. From the owners manual:
The only reason I am pointing this out is due to the fact that these cars, in general, get very "fussy" when the battery runs low to begin with. Add to that the substantial draw the 'Verts top puts on the (IMO barely adequate) battery capacity and even more issues may present.
@ILM-NC G37S - with you 100%. I would do the key fob thing on my 11 Coupe to unroll the windows, but I would never do the top-down using my key fob and/or the driver side unlock button.
Engine running for me only! :-D. Good suggestion
Heading down to ILM this weekend for a getaway with my wife. May see my 2015 Q60S with the top down (white/black interior). Weather looks perfect for that!
No offense @petemo94, but I have enough of tourists as it is. My behind stays home during these "holidays." Be sure to pack patience as these locals do not know how to drive on a good day- let alone during tourist-laden holidays, lol. Thankfully, though, you should have good weather as the "tropical storm" will be long gone leaving beautiful weather in its wake.
None should have any problems. Unfortunately, in my area, I see folks open/ closing their tops (all makes) just for the "look at me" aspect...
Unless your cars will be driven daily, I would strongly suggest you invest in a battery tender to keep the battery fully charged and/ or carry a portable booster pack while you travel.
