Subwoofer spare tire

I'm looking for a subwoofer to fit into my spare slot in the trunk as the bass in the car is a lot worse than my previous G37. I want to keep the car as OEM as possible, but I haven't had any luck in finding one to fit my spare tire. I bought a Nissan FX subwoofer as supposedly it would fit into the spare tire that the G37 provides, but it was too big.

Does anyone know where I could find one?

Why not just build a custom enclosure with a shallow mount sub like this:
https://www.jlaudio.com/collections/...bwoofers-92184
Any reputable audio shop will make a custom mold to the spec of this sub and you might even have some space left, depending on whether you want it ported or not.

Something tells me there isn't much of a market for convertible spare tire subs so this might be your best bet.

How about one from a 370Z? That will likely be the closest you can get to the G...

As Kiseliok mentioned, you might be better off building your own for a more custom fit.

I agree with the custom setup however if you'd like to keep it factory then the 350/370z Bose woofer should be able to be swapped for the oem which I doubt it will be any different.
Unsure if the factory system will support both connected.

Whoa - great looking setup! Did you have it connected to stock bose system?
And where are you located?

I am of different mindset. I say keep the spare. Better to have and not need than to need and not have. That being said, I hade custom box made for mine. And retained ALL my trunk space. Incidentally, its for sale too lol

there was a Rockford fosgate 360.3 under the trim.

All audio was wired from the pre-out outputs(before the bos3l). Needed the 360 to control.volume.,

My 2009 EX had one, worked great. Could be an easy junkyard pickup.

I did the same thing. The height for the entire box has to be under 5.75". Mine sounds amazing. Top works fine. Lots of Dynomat under the cover to prevent a flapping sound. For best results, tap into the 6x9's speaker wires because your bass **** will work just like a sub control as only low frequencies will be going out from those.
This works very well:

NVX XFLOC2 2-Channel 80W Line Output Converter with Digital Noise Filter + Line Driver

Zero unwanted noises.

Sub barely fits:

Pioneer TS-A3000LS4

Shallow-mount 12" 4-ohm subwoofer

Amp isn't mounted in the pic yet. It's a Kenwood and doesn't get hot at all. I also upgraded the tweets in the sail and that made all the difference. The system is perfect with a good sub and better tweets.
