Hello all. Anyone ever fix/replace the window seal on the convertible. 2009 G37S convertible. The seal by the driver's side mirror leaks when it rains and is starting to peel away. Is it an easy DIY fix or should I take it in?
Can you elaborate, or provide a pic, on where the leak originates? The junction where the mirror/tweeter meets the A-pillar can be a tricky beast (been there/ done that). Replacing those seals on the Coupe is not overly difficult, but due to the nature of the 'vert... it may be slightly more complicated.
Keep in mind that "if" the "triangular" mirror seal has to be replaced, the interior door panel must be removed (not difficult, but special precautions have to be made because of the SRS/ airbag within the door itself).

On the Coupe, the seals are just press fit onto the body and secured with double sided tape and some push pin-type clips. The only thing I am not certain of is, because of the complexity of the 'vert roof, if the exterior A-pillar trim cap has to be removed (red arrows):
I just do not want to steer you in the wrong direction. I tried looking up the seals/ part numbers but I can't make heads or tails of the diagrams. Hopefully, others more familiar with the 'vert seals can chime in.
I think you'll have to replace the entire rubber as it looks like it has cracked at the seam. According to the Infiniti Catalog part number 76922-JJ50A should be the part. https://parts.infinitiusa.com/p/INFI...922-JJ50A.html
