I’m Trying to put paddle shifters on my 09 g37 convertible but when I take the bottom piece off isn’t there suppose to be the adapters taped up together ? I can’t seem to see them or is it cause I’m not able to ?

 

IF the connector is there, you will have to really hunt for it. Unused connectors are very well hidden. Look for "lumps" of foam tape wrapped with electrical tape. It is possible your 'vert is not pre-wired at which point installing paddles- while still possible- gets a little more involved.
