Hi All,

Put the top down on the way to the beach, all 4 windows automatically went down (as normal). When I finally got to the beach - I couldn’t put the top back up and all the windows don’t work except the driver side main window - this is using the controls from the drivers side seat.

Sitting in the passenger seat you can’t control any windows and the door lock won’t work either. It’s like the power went out on the right side of the car.

There is no beeping when attempting to raise the roof or error saying the divider is not in place it’s like the button is just dead.

Has anyone seen this before? Any help is much appreciated.

 

unplug the batter (neg cable) and let sit for at least 15 minutes.

How old is your battery?

Did you try all this w/the car running? Don't EVER put top up/down w/the engine stopped.

 

I have not tried that but battery was tested 6 months ago and it was good to go. I’ll try it

Oh yeah car was running when windows and door locks were tested as well as convertible top.

Windows and lock doesn’t work when car is off. I def won’t attenpt the roof operation when car is off.

 

Not true.

Ignition can be ON (all lights in dash are on), but engine OFF, and windows will work.

Again, you do NOT want to operate the top w/the engine OFF.

 

Check your fuses too.

 

Correct.

When my car is off and the ignition is “on” the windows/lock do not work.
