hey guys, lots of mixed reviws on this, and i searched this forum, and nico forums, and cannot find the answer.

are 2009-2013 verts pretty much identical?
can i install the smoked headlights and bumper from a 2013 IPL to the 2009 base model w/out any modifications?

i did a part # search, and they are indeed different... but wondering if anyone attempted to update the look of the 2009 to look like the newer, more aggressive models.

i have read that yes you can put a IPL bumper on a coupe, but you must change the windshield fluid to a smaller size that comes on the IPL in order for it too fit perfectly. But yes they should all be the same just small modifications. But an IPL bumper will not fit a sedan.

 

on a coupe - yes. but for some reason, the coupe kits you can buy specifically state that they dont fit convertible models.. ?

 

Are you asking whether all convertibles parts interchange with one another?

Or are you asking whether coupe and/or sedan parts will fit 'verts?

 

convertible only. can i take a convertible bumper from a newer vert, pref an IPL, and put on my 09 w/out any mods?

 

I’m pretty sure the front end is the same size and dimension as far the coupe and convertible goes. Because the hood and fenders are the same size if not mistaking. The only thing is the rear portion is different. Maybe go to a dealer around your place that is selling a g37 coupe and compare it or even a q60.
