I am one of the fortunate ones who has 2009 convertible with the Monaco Red leather perforated seats with hot and cold functionality.
They look stunning.... but ... (always a but) ... my driver side has a few gnarly scratches and a nice tear in it.
I am looking for a used replacement leathers. Any ideas where I could find one. eBay has a replacement upper for close to $1000 USD and no mention of the bottoms seat cover.
Any idea where I could source one that is used but still in good condition.
Actually I did see an auto leather repair specialist. He said that the red perforated had a unique pattern that would be hard to match.
So looking for alternative solutions or a good set of replacements.
I have red seats too. Just curious, would a shop be able to dye the seats to match? The cost, roughly? I don't have any tears or scratches just a little discoloration.

I would be curious to know this too. I have the same issue.
Have it repaired by a specialist. I had work done on both seats, a rubbed out color on the bolster piping and a tear on passenger seat. Can't even tell. This will save you a lot. Check out seat doctors.com . You should be able to take care of the scratches
I had the same issue, the vynil part of mines either discolored or started breaking and the leather darkened and developed scratches. I had the side repaired, the punctured part(leather) will be hard to match as ventilated can come in all sorts of shapes

If
if you have patience and time and steady hand you can do it yourself. Took me about 12 hours total including taking the seats out to dye them. You can definitely do it yourself to restore the seats.

I'm interested. My seats will eventually crap out and the interior has taken a darker shade. This is result I like a lot.
What did you use and where your seats tan to start with?

I been revamping this car since I got it back in July to bring life back into it. The first thing though was this horrible seats. They were originally that stone grey color. You can tell previous owner did not care for the car so I needed to condition that leather liven it up and then dye it. I went to auto leather dye website and they’re good because you can color match to your car or go a totally new color which I did. I sat there with a sponge brush for hours on end doing like 8-10 coats to get the desired color. In the end it came out clean. I know it’s not stock but let me tell you when people see the vert with the red seats they’re just like where the hell did you get that. I literally get stopped just to be asked where I got the car from.

I'll keep this thread in mind for the future. I'm convinced that I'm better off buying a lower mileage sport seat and dying it than trying to salvage mines.
