Where to get OEM parts

Greetings brothers, I am residing in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh with a nice and lovely g37 convert. Our dealers here all closed and no one is supplying any parts. junkyard is nonexistent for my model.
at the moment I am in need of engine air filters (they come as a pair) and hood struts or suspenders whatever u want to call them.
I cannot really decide on aftermarket brands that don't really have many if any reviews and i rather get a little expensive average OEM part than a cheaper worse option.
also preferably a site that doesn't have a nice reputation of scams like ebay.
one of the reasons is my coworkers have some mechanical xp and they keep mentioning if the struts are the wrong size or cheap brand they can break the hood, bend it, or worse pop it while driving which is really dangerous (apparently this happened to his friend)
thank you so much brothers.

ps: In case some1 has recommendations for brands do not hesitate to share them, and much more importantly if there any parts I should buy now or change to avoid troubles in the future (thankfully nothing went wrong other than bumper senors and some minute roof issues.

Hello 3BOSH,
Here in the US I always recommend discountinfinitiparts.com when ordering OEM parts. They offer the best price and have excellent customer service. The parts manager, Sid, is one of the best in the business and will help in any way possible. I do not know if they ship internationally but you could always ask.

In the past I have also used partsouq.com and amayama.com mainly for JDM parts from Japan. Being that you are in Saudi Arabia, these may be a better option as they are based/have offices in the UAE so shipping costs should be lower.

All of the sites have online parts catalogs that can help you find the part numbers. Just have your chassis number (VIN here in the US).
-The front hood struts are the same for the Coupe/Convertible: p/n:65470-JL00A, approx. $63USD ea.
-OEM air filter: p/n:16546-JK20A, approx. $21USD ea.

Hope some of this helps you.
Alex

really really appreciate it, and the UAE based amayama is a real bless,
any advice if i should change now or "pre-order" something like ignition coils, spark plugs, fuel injectors, or timing belt of the engine.
I keep hearing some "known issues" of infiniti auto transmissions idk how valid and what needs to be done about it.
this is my one and only daily driver since 2012 (stocked since 2010) so taking care of it for longevity is a must
thank you so much again <3

I am glad to be of some help. I would just focus on preventive maintenance items such as filters, accessory drive belt, wipers, etc. I believe that if nothing is wrong do not try to fix it.

If you want to stock up on some items to save shipping/duty costs, then you could also order a set of spark plugs, cabin air filter, and brake pads as well (if you want OEM). I would not worry about changing the coil packs, fuel injectors, timing chains, etc.

As long as you perform routine maintenance (oil/fluid changes, etc.) you should not have any major problems with the car. I can not speak for the 7AT- I have the 5AT and it has been problem free. Just stay on top of fluid changes. Again, if it isn't broken- don't fix it.

My '08 Coupe has 105K miles on it and aside from having to replace the radiator fan motor the car has been 100% problem free. Again, perform the scheduled maintenance and you should fine.

That’s interesting to read, thanks

Today Infiniti announced that they are pulling out of Europe, I may be experiencing problems in the supply of parts in the future

Not to stray off topic, but did Infiniti really have that much of a presence in the UK/EU? Just curious. I thought Germany had most of the EU under their products...

We’ve got two, a G37 convertible and a Q30.
They never caught on, for “up market” BMW/Mercedes/Jaguar rule the roost.
Currently I believe there are five dealers in the uk.
We see a few Q30’s but I’ve only ever seen 2 other G37’s.
There’ll be some great offers on the dealers stock of cars!!

Interesting. Just a matter of time before the ripple effect hits the states.

I could not find the break pads, wipers, and are there any more filters other than engine and cabin?
Their numbers would be really appreciated.

Oil Filter p/n: 15208-65F0E, approx. $6.50USD
Cabin Filter p/n: B7277-1CA1B, approx. $39USD
Serpentine Belt p/n: 11720-EY00B, approx. $48USD.

These, and the air filters (referenced above), are the only maintenance items I would focus on right now. If your car has high mileage then you could consider getting spark plugs (p/n: 22401-JK01D, approx. $16USD each (you need 6).

So, Infiniti is pulling out of Europe and now the Middle East.... the winds of change are stirring...

it is not really middle east more of a Saudi Arabia thing,
basically we have this "hypocritical" view on dealership monopoly.
and this caused my first dealer to lose and close after somehow a 2nd dealer was able to sneak a contract. then the 2nd dealer was like f*** infiniti i will just deal with nissan. and the third dealer who had lamborginis, bentlys, and lotus within the same dealership became bankrupt "supposedly" he was corrupt and stole money.
we keep laughing at how someone could **** up having monopolies on cars and getting huge income from stealerships.
UAE should be fine since their market is competitive without the monopoly bull****.
P.S.: monopolies are forbidden in islamic religion, but money changes some people's hearts

Money changes everyone- those who have it and those who don't. Sadly that is the way of the world these days.

Hopefully you can get the parts you need either from a Nissan dealership or through amayama. If you ever need any help just post or shoot me a PM. Good luck!
