headliner replacement

While closing the top of my 2011 conv, it took a big bite our of the headliner in the lower right side. the dealer said 3k to replace the headliner but three local shops have all said around $300.00 to replace the headliner. Anyone have experience with this issue. thanks

do it yourself. its farily simple, just requires the fabric and some adhesive fabric spray, and jus work the material.
Easily can cost you under $50 if youre willing to do labor

I think this one is a little more involved than a standard coupe / sedan as it has a few bendable / flexible points that need to be properly secured.
I wouldn't trust myself with this one, but I can't imagine why a reputable shop wouldn't be able to help you.

Didn't have a fabric tear, but had the tension string break. It was a fairly easy fix, just a little time consuming. I just looked at the other side an copied how it was rigged. I would check every avenue before replacing, that is extremely expensive, hopefully your tear is minor and you can get a local inexpensive fix.
