Headliner color
Does anyone know why Infiniti does now use a black or dark gray headliner in the cars with graphite interiors? My only thought is that it has to be for cost savings, they can basically use the same headliner in all their cars except maybe the stone/beige interior. My

I thought it was just me. I personally don't care for having a dark gray interior with a beige headliner, no one else has even noticed so far but I think it looks stupid. Why the hell can't it be a shade of gray? Either dark or light, but it should be gray with the Graphite interior. Is it the exact same color for Stone or Wheat interior as well?

The answer is MONEY! Production costs would increase if they stocked different color sets for headliners. More storage space, another item for quality control, another 'chance' for a labor-install error. The bean counters are at work on every item that goes into building a car. Their motto is: "Scrimp and save wherever possible, and yet keep quality as high as possible." That's simple and perhaps incomplete, but you get the idea.
