Parked my vert next to an oak tree right by my drive. We had a rain storm that knocked a bunch of leaves all over the car. After getting rid of all the leaves, I opened the trunk and viola a bunch of leaves where in the trunk. The trunk it self was dry, so how are these leaves getting into the trunk and does anyone have an idea on how to stop it happening again?

 

The whole top and rear of the car moves around / comes apart when you put the roof down. If you left some leaves on top of the car when operating the roof, it'll all go into the trunk.

 

As I wrote, I removed all the leaves on the car, then opened the trunk and saw a bunch of leaves in the trunk.

 

Well, look at the car when the top is up. Do you see any gaps? If you do, there is something wrong with it and you should take the car into the dealership.
Look at the car when the top is down. Do you see any places where the leaves could get into the trunk? Again, if you do, take the car in. It's not normal.
Otherwise, there is no friggin way for those to get into your trunk. Tell your wife (or whomever the other person driving your car) to not fold the roof when there is crap on top of it.

There is a lip at the bottom of the back window that is covered by the trunk that could easily hold leaves and drop into the trunk when it's opened. I have to make sure my neighbors pine needle don't fill mine up...
