Black Out window trim or leave it chrome?

Debating if black out window trim will look best or leave the chrome as a contrast. A photoshop would help if anyone can do a quick one.

Black trim. But do all of it. This is mine before I ripped off the awful vinyl wrap, and redid with PlastiDip.

Gloss Black. It's not so much the color of the car... although red and black G's certainly lend themselves well to blacked out window trim. It's that your windows are tinted dark. So between the windows and the car, that chrome outline is too intense.

I went with a graphite personally. matched my rims and a bit of contrast from the darker windows and grey of the car. :-) https://www.instagram.com/p/BHckvIQh...n-by=gaving37x

Must have had a bad install, I've had my gloss black wrap on for almost 5 years and still looks factory fresh. And the vinyl will match the center pillars much better than dip (they are vinyl wrapped from the factory).

It's not a tough DIY and only costs about $25, here's the link~ https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...-g-sedans.html

I vote chrome. GM did a study and found that the average buyer perceived an $800 difference in a value of a car based on chrome window trim. Black trim looks cheap to the layman.

Lol its the aesthetic looks for the owner not an estimate on a resale value of the car lol

He can always take it off when trying to sell the car

Black it out, but wrap it, don't do dip. Like Newt said the wrap will hold up well if done correctly and look the best.
