Hi Crunk, i dont think you need to buy a pair just in case...i dont know what year is your vert? How many time you open the top in a year?...If you're lucky, you may never have to change those gears...odds are not on your side, as it's one of the most common problem on the vert...Many owners says, it's not if but when it will break! But who knows???
My supplier is very safe and well establish, when i'm out of stock, i make new orders, it may take couple weeks to produce but those pieces will be always available upon a get demands or interest.
so, i dont think you have to place order now just in case! If it hapoend, just send me an email or reply and i will be happy to sell you a pair.
For sure, one day or another, there will come to an end of receiving orders requests as, this model was produce only from 2009 to 2015 and they didn't produce thousands each years but...as long as i get interest, i'll stay in contact with my supplier. I already sold many pair since last 2 years...maybe it will be needed for couple more...!?

Nice but, i think that you need to advise that this gear model will fit only on 2009 to 2011 models... if you don't provide the small metal gear. Supplier change the design on 2012 and later models.
